Your foundation is the most important part of your building.
It supports the entire structure, provides stability, and protects against moisture and settling. A poorly built foundation leads to cracked walls, uneven floors, and costly repairs. We build foundations right the first time so you never have to worry.
Structural Integrity
Properly built foundations distribute weight evenly, preventing settling and cracking.
Moisture Protection
Professional waterproofing and drainage systems keep your space dry and protected.
Code Compliance
All work meets or exceeds local building codes, ensuring your project passes inspection.
Long-Term Value
A quality foundation protects your investment and adds value for decades to come.

Foundation FAQs
How long does it take to pour a foundation?
A typical residential foundation takes 1-2 weeks from excavation to completion. This includes site preparation, forming, pouring, and initial curing time. Larger commercial foundations may take longer.
How deep should a foundation be?
Foundation depth depends on local frost lines and soil conditions. In Eastern Illinois and Western Indiana, footings typically need to be at least 42 inches deep to get below the frost line.
Do I need a permit for a new foundation?
Yes, most jurisdictions require building permits for foundation work. We handle the permitting process and ensure all work meets local building codes and regulations.
What is the difference between poured concrete and block foundations?
Poured concrete foundations offer superior strength and water resistance. Block foundations can be more cost-effective but may be more prone to water infiltration. We typically recommend poured concrete for most applications.
How long before the foundation can support a structure?
Concrete reaches about 70% of its strength in 7 days and full strength in 28 days. Most building can begin on the foundation after 7 days, but we'll advise based on your specific project.
Do you offer waterproofing?
Yes, we provide complete waterproofing services including damp-proofing coatings, drainage tile installation, and proper grading to direct water away from your foundation.
